Which could be a good thing from your point of view in that it may have a dedicated following (other than the homebrewers who need the bottles). But it lacks wow, I think.

As Pils goes I think Flensburger is one of the better ones, it's got more bite than most of the other German Pils.

It's been a while, but Flensburger Pils was border line nasty when I tried it (kind of rubbery). The Weisse was a little better.

I think they are both solid offerings.

The Pils is a good example of a northern German Pils, on the hoppy side for the style, while the Weiss is a highly drinkable, if uninspired Hefe.

Great bottles though. I have used them again and again and have only had to replace a single rubber cap ring.

Haven't been to yuor good establishemnt yet but hope to do so sometime this year hopefully.

The westmalle duble is a regular at the Bierhaus in Cork and I am a big fan of Karmeliet. Bierhaus also has Flemsburger at times - their winterbock at 7% was pretty good I thought.

Well done to you and your equals for giving us choices of decent beers!
