GBB have also posted up that Full Sail isn't going to be brewed anymore.

I presume the Full Sail one was an April Fools thing.

Was chatting the other day as to why Diageo don't just buy up a craft brewer instead of farting about with their mediocre Storehouse, Guinness and Smithwick's project. We mentioned Galway Bay, but assumed they'd have to off-load the bars.
Would be sad to see them bought up, but at the same time, it would massively increase their distribution network and allow the bottles to be stocked in virtually every pub in the country if Diageo wanted it.

Last year they offloaded Desnoes & Geddes; before that Smithwick's, Waterford and Great Northern got the chop. They're a spirits company reluctantly stuck with one big beer brand through accident of history. Acquiring a brewery would be very much against the way they operate.

The other side of that coin is they believe they make the best beer in the world. They have nothing to learn from lesser brands of beer.
