I did a Christmas trade for two cracking Double IPAs: Double Duckpin[/url:qnq5cwmr] and On The Wings of Armageddon[/url:qnq5cwmr].
Wings (9.2%) was canned on 12/12, and is all Falconer's Flight: think old school C-hop notes.
DD (8.5%) is slightly older - about 7 weeks - and is hopped with Columbus, Mosaic, Citra, Amarillo + Simcoe, giving more melon and tropical fruit.
I'm doing a dry January.
Both of these beers are quite fresh and bright, so will be hurt by spending a month in storage.
I have a few cans of each; I'll drink some today and could gift the rest.
But if anyone has anything that might age a bit better than an IPA, I'm open to suggestions for swaps.
