Just copy/paste from an email I got.

On the 11th of September Craftbeer Growlers Ltd, in partnership with Carry Out Off-Licence, Tyrrelstown Town Centre, Dublin 15 will become Ireland’s first off-licence to offer unique Growler and PET fills to its customers.
The in-store launch of a state of the art Growler filling station along with Carry Out’s extensive portfolio of Craft beers (over 400+ beers), aims to make Carry Out Off-License Tyrrelstown, market leaders in the retail of Craft beers.
A Growler is a refillable container into which draught beer is poured for home consumption. Today’s Growlers come in many different shapes and sizes such as 2 litre, 1 litre, 64floz, Glass, Ceramic, Stainless steel and PET bottles as well as many novelty shapes.
Many pubs, breweries and Off-licences in the UK and some Pubs in Ireland offer Growler fills. However, the existing methodology is flawed. Filling a Growler from a traditional beer tap is not as easy as it may seem and has a tendency to cause the beer to foam and overflow the Growler, resulting in waste. The beer also comes in contact with air and will instantly start to oxidise resulting in an immediate loss of quality and taste. Some establishments use hosepipes attached to the beer tap, to try and resolve the wastage issue. However, this causes its own problems, directly resulting in a loss of taste & quality.

The innovative PEGAS CrafTap from Craftbeer Growlers LTD offers the solution to these problems. While filling the Growler, the PEGAS CrafTap allows no air to come in contact with the beer, resulting in no oxidisation of the beer and will keep it perfectly for up to 60 days. It also minimises foaming, which reduces your waste to virtually zero and provides a hygienic method for filling the Growlers.
From the 11th of September onwards, Craftbeer Growlers in partnership with Carry Out Off-license, Tyrrelstown will be offering Growler and PET fills to its customers. The new growler filling systems provides customers with the opportunity to have two litres, one litre glass Growlers or PET bottles filled for home consumption with a choice of four fresh draught Craft beers. Customers may also take advantage of Craftbeer Growlers loyalty system which is soon to be put in place.
On the day of the launch customers will be able to select Craft beers from the following menu:

Craft Beer 1 Litre 2Litre
Metalman Pale Ale (4.3% a.b.v) €7.50 €14.00
Black Donkey Sheep Steeler Saison (5.5% a.b.v) €7.50 €14.00
Porterhouse Dublin Pale Ale (4.2% a.b.v) €8.50 €15.00
Brooklyn Ridgy-Didge Lemon Myrtle Saison (8.4% a.b.v) €10.50 €19.99

At the moment, up to 50% of Craft beers are unavailable for take home, in any format. Craftbeer Growlers aim to change this statistic, working closely with breweries we hope to create a diverse and ever changing beer menu that is available to our customers.

This system flushes with CO2[/url:bqctjemk], which is huge.

If it's used right and they also cap on foam to minimize oxygen, then you can get a shelf life of up to a month. You're essentially mimicking a commercial bottling line.

Will they fill growlers from other places I wonder, e.g. Sweetmans? Although they're an odd size from a billing perspective of 1.89 litres.
