The owner may relax in a week or two if beer is not shifting. Belringer has not been brewed for 5 years because of people who think they can drink the same number of high alchol pints.

If it goes well, I propose to launch a campaign to bring Bellringer back next winter.

I think serving it in a special glass would be a better idea than limiting the number of pints.

People are used to drinking at a particular pace, when they have a pint glass in front of them. Put a wine glass in front of them and they will drink slower. Ever drink wine from a large glass? Recipe for disaster!

A 33cl stemmed glass would be just enough to remind the drinker that this is not a pint of session strength beer, every time they pick it up.

I think this stems from the time they actually brewed with an abv in the 7% range. Caught a lot of people off guard.

But if I can't have a pint of it, why would I be drinking it at all? Me and the lads go out for pints, like, not to be drinking from feckin' wine glasses.
