I think what you are saying makes a lot of sense, a lot of the macro lagers have added sugar or nitrogen diluents, par for the course on JBK for coopers or other lager stylee beers kits was 500g of dme and 500g of sugar to thin it.

I reckon mine got shook up a lot because it's not flat from the keg. Also I used one of those short party taps to fill the bottles and that foamed the beer so the bottles were only half full and too much air was available and I lost a lot of carbonation in that headspace.

I finished the last of the keg last night. The guys in work thought it was clean and crisp.

Nah, it was a special occasion. Usually it comes from the kegerator but that was full and I did not have time to clean beer lines etc.
