It is a nice walk, if we had a decent pub in walking distance we could meet up for a pint

[quote:27qp1jhn]I'd be interested to know how the "NUTS Brown Ale" turned out. Is it close to the Goose Island Nut Brown Ale (one of my favourites at the moment)?[/quote:27qp1jhn]

Will be transferring this to the corney tonight or tomorrow and should have a good idea what its like in about a week. Plan is to let it cold condition for 3 - 4 days and then I'll force carb for 3 days.

So are you coming to the Dublin 15 meet then on the 17th in Tyrrelstown?

Do you live in the newer developments near where Superquinn is?

At least you have some craft brew available there and in the off license.

Yep only a five minute walk away. Superquinn is OK for beer, however its 'seciality' beer section has only about 6/7 different beers, but it does have some O'Hara's and Adnams, as well as Afflingem.

The off lisecnce is OK, a big selection of english and belgium beers, the problem is that you have to be careful of the best before dates! My big interest is in american beers and unfortunately they stock none, they also don't have any of the Irish beers!
