Is that a respectable number? I have no frame of reference here, but I am very interested in learning. What kind of numbers would be expected for different beers?

Not a clue. I nodded sagely and said "Right." By the tone in which I was told I suspect it is an acceptable quantity. I'd imagine somewhere with the on-tap variety of the B&C and Bierhaus wouldn't obey the same laws of turnover as a pub with the usual dull selection.

I think you'd expect to get 90-odd pints out of a keg. 180 pints a week. An average of 26 pints day. I'd say if you were selling that much of a particular beer it'd be worth your while keeping it on.

But I know absolutely nothing about this.

For a new beer with zero publicity in the media, and selling by word of mouth I think that's very positive. Yes, the people that frequent these pubs might be more up to trying something new, but for a brewery that's so young I think they must be well chuffed so far. I wonder how they're doing in Galway.

I'm not speaking with any authority but a lot of the craft brews I've seen have been in smaller kegs that hold 40-50 pints. Not sure if that's the case with Hooker but from memory I don't think I saw full size kegs at the brewery.

The Bierfest was amazing. I really enjoyed my self big time. And so many beers

The atmosphere was excellent. And the Bierhaus Staff were great it was busy but they done a great job.
I tried a few beers but my favourites on this Friday and Saturday were THE GALLWAY HOOKER and KOESTRITZER SCHWARZ.
