Sorry I missed out on the night. Sounds good.

There was a great bar in NYC that had a homebrew meet up once a month. It was called Mugs Alehouse. Nice place...

I was in the Bull & Castle before and after a gig on Sunday night last. MAJOR CRISIS; they are out of Goose Island IPA
However, I am reassured by Declan that it is "in the country" being held up by paperwork. He kindly sold me an SNIPA for the price of the GIIPA. Incidentally, after the gig I returned but the Beerhall was closed (?slow night). They have the full beer menu in the downstairs place fortunately.

heh maybe the crate I got from realbeers.ie was the last crate in the country Willing to sell bottles at a hugely inflated price, supply and demand and all that!

was in there on friday night and thought it a really nice spot. do they have all the english ales chilled though? tried the arrain rua - nice but not amazing and the snipa which was pretty good then i had one of the draught german beers. it was really quiet there on friday but everywhere in dublin was too. wouldn't have heard of the changes to this place without this site, thanks for the heads up on it. btw i heard that the way the new owners got rid of the old clientele was to get rid of budweiser and john player blue - worked a treat!
