Matt Cooper conducted a bizarre interview on The Last Word earlier during which he questioned if Irish drinkers would accept the lack of choice in a UK chain.
He seemed to be under the impression that they were tied to one brewery. He noted that Irish people like a choice of stout, Guinness, Murphy's or even Beamish and a selection of lagers such as Heineken, Carlsberg, Budweiser. He then wondered aloud what would a Guinness drinker think if he was instead offered *pause* "ALE!"
