Some will tell you to buy them full. I can never understand how to empty them though. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

After embarrassing my better half by raking in re-cycling bins I gave up and bought some from Hop and grape (All arrived in one piece)

I grabbed a few from Grape and Grain to get an initial stockpile, but now just by them full and enjoy every moment emptying them.

How could it be embarassing to rack in recycling bins ? These bottles are [i:2r3atzz0] meant [/i:2r3atzz0] to be transported, then crushed, then remelted, then casted as new bottles before being used.
I think it's a nice convenient and energy-saving to collect empty bottles from the pubs. Some of them are returned to the brewery (Bulmers...) so the bartender won't let you have them. Bust most brands are just being re-cycled in a poorly efficient way.
Well, that's my opinion.
I also enjoy buying them full, for sure <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->

Just put out a pre-Christmas warning to friends and family not to dump any empties. You should be awash with them come January.
