CO2 in South East 13 years 11 months ago #1

Was speaking to my uncle at a family get together and found out he does fire extinguishers, sales , service and filling.

Anyone looking for a CO2 tank or to refill around the Waterford side of the country, give him a shout.

Are you sure they are CO2 bottles? It is more likely that they are mixed gas from a pub unless they are really old.

Good stuff Snuff, I was thinking I would have to go to Cork to get mine refilled.

Yeah - have one of each now - th ey have different valves from what I recall one is ale the other female - ill take a look again later but I'm pretty sure one is single gas - they're fairly old alright - barman said one of the beers companys supplied it with the line back in the day

If they have different valves then one surely is CO2.
If he replaces valves I will get at least one of my mixed gas bottles converted to CO2 for use at home. I will keep the fire extinguisher bottle for portable use.
