Shameless plug for the talk I'm doing at The Beer Club in Kimmage this Saturday evening.

It'll be about two hours with tasting of five beers and lots of history. Technology permitting I should have some visuals to go with it all as well.

It kicks off at 5 and is €15. Booking here[/url:3tjzb6sv].

Is it pale ales (like this thread says) or IPAs (like the website says)?

IPA is a type of Pale Ale.

The beers for tasting are a Bitter, an English IPA, an American Pale Ale, an American IPA and a Double/Imperial IPA.

I'm sorry- I need to see that in a Venn diagram.

The web page gives the impression it's exclusively IPAs.

As a matter of interest what are the beers that will be forming part of the discussion?
