S = Small = Small Ladies

M = Medium = Medium sized Ladies

L = Large = Large Ladies

Seriously, Its mainly about bust size ( according to SWMBO ) and then height

< 32" would be small

33" to 36" Medium

> 36" Large

For avaerage heights, if tall for a woman then go up a size.

Also, large and baggy is/was a fashion statement.

Too tight and skimpy is uncomfatable !!
