Anyone been in the shop lately?
Are they stocking and grains or is it all just equipment still? Ever time I'm in its always coming soon. Will get getting stuff for the all grain lads next month. I'm just looking for some small bits to bet my next batch on the go and don't want to order a load online if I can drop in for some crystal and yeast.

I was in during the week, some nice equipment but no sign of decent ingredients.

That's all that was there last time i was in. Fermenters look great bit a big pile of grains would be better. The one waslk in shop does not sell grain. Really is his loss. Missing out on some real drop in last min sales.

Its such a shame because a bus runs right outside my door to outside the shop.

Was in 2 weeks ago and they had extract kits, didn't see any grain on its own though. I was laughing, The sign out side was pointing accross the other side of the street. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Always have extract and usually unrefrigerated hops and yeast. Grains are always on the way..!? agree it would be good to be able to drop in for some ingredients.

Would also be great to have the best part of a grand to spend on a conical fermenter...

Might give them a bell on Tuesday (closed Mondays) and see what he has in stock. I reckon if enough people put some pressure on them they they MUST see there is a market and get some grains in. The rest of the stuff they do looks great and is handy for picking up bits and pieces its hard to get other places but they are really missing out on a easy share of the market. I don't think it would be hard for them to even order a couple of Kg of grain (even if its from the HBC ) just to have them in the shop.

Missing out.
