I grabbed a set last year that are kind of similar. They have a thermometer on them, which I find strange.

Yep. Can't see a damn reason for it, unless you're prepared to delve into relative densities due to temperature differences. Not a big factor when weighing out flour for scones or hops for brewing.

Didn't have any in Aldi on Parnell street, so I went to Lidl on Moore Street, on the off chance. They have digital scales with the same features, for the same price.

Lidl have scales back this Monday. I missed out the last time round.
