Whats the difference between the bean-tin and the pillow case style? Is the pillow case style with the handles preferable but only suited to larger vessels?
I just want to BIAB in a converted 33litre fermenter with two elements..

The difference really is the internal volume of the bag, the bean tin fits tight into the sides, the pillow case design doesn't fit as snugly, if you imagine using a pillowcase to do it rather than a fitted cylidrical bag.
If you use a small vessel the pillowcase makes it hard to fill the whole volume of the vessel.
