While I REALLY REALLY appreciate your achievement in sourcing 25kgs of malt from abroad ( after all Ireland cannot grow German or UK malts ) why oh why why can we not obtain Irish Barley/Wheat/Rye malts from the maltsters in this country???
Ok, so a micro-brewery that DID have access to .ie malts and offered them to us was eventually throttled, Why can't a LARGE homebrew supplier like your good selves NOT buy malted grain in 25kg sacks?
As a Weslhman living in Irelnd I would really like to brew an Irish Roggen
When I lived in Friedrichshaven on the Boddensee there were only 2 brewers of Roggen ( and only in bottles!! )
My original Irish Roggen on draught could be a worlds first
Cheers
