I recently changed my fermenting buckets cause they're a bit dodgy at this stage(last 2 brews in bin).

They are ideal for turning into a 25ltr boiler, or storage, if anyone wants them, but i wouldn't use them to ferment.

No lids

I will keep them until next weekend before i chuck them.

Would either of these be of any use as bottling buckets (do they have a tap?)??

If he's getting rid of them because they are harbouring microscopic nasties, I wouldn't use them as a bottling bucket.

Could be good for storing grain and such

Could be used for insulating and then mashing, too. If it was 60 days ago, I'd take one off of you and use it for a mash tun...
