Dont think you were the first with this offer[/quote:16bxs42u]
Well, we've just gone a stage further and bundled Coopers kits with the ingredients that are supposed to be used with then. See:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="homebrewwest.ie/coopers-kit-packs-comple...by-coopers-123-c.asp">homebrewwest.ie/coopers-kit-pack ... -123-c.asp

These bundles are incredible value. At more than 20% less than UK RRPs, these prices really are ridiculous! We challenge anyone to find a site that comes anywhere near these prices either here or in the UK.

"Dont think you were the first with this offer"

but the first to post them here...saves us checking . is this not he point of having the market square part of the site ?

well done to all driving down costs.

It cant last though. As soon as current Coopers stock in Ireland is depleted, prices will definately be going up.

So enjoy the good times while they last!

This is great news for kit brewers, i wish it was like this when i brewed kits, if you can go down to these prices today? then why can't the prices stay that low?

Prices here in general should be a few percent higher than UK prices when you factor in shipping costs and the difference in VAT rates.

As agents here for Coopers and HB, we can sustain it but its not good for the shops and other online stores we supply.

Our primary mission here is bring pricing on all home brew products down to near UK levels, so that suppliers in Ireland earn a fair margin (as they do in the UK). In this we have largely succeeded in that all the products we supply are already at (or very close to) UK prices now.

Our secondary mission is to bring homebrewing to as many consumers in Ireland as we can; as wholesalers, we are doing this by supplying many new on-line stores and bricks and mortar shops. We figure that more homebrewers is good for everyone, including the existing on-line suppliers. These guys have overheads and need to have a margin if they are to continue displaying homebrew products. So pricing 20% below the UK norm really isn't sustainable long term for retailers here, be they on-line or bricks and mortar.

So enjoy it while it lasts!

Under cutting the shops you are supplying to is not sustainable <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
