Welcome along PJames .

I'm a Cork based homebrewer too , Doing all grain . If you're interested , you can get base malt local alright but as yet there are no Bricks and mortar places . Limerick and Waterford each have small shops . Depending on what you're looking to do I know places to get some things around ( if you're gonna do any DIY Stuff like a keggle or wort chiller )

Happy brewing !!!

There was a guy in Glengariff down in bantry that did homebrew and has some sort of shop. Bob Tansy was the name. I think that you would get a better range from the online shops though.

On a side note, I'm excited to have found this website and forum! I have not brewed my own beer since I lived in the U.S. about 6 years ago and it's great to have an Irish community to learn the ins-and-outs of sourcing everything the home brewer needs. Excellent![/quote:2fs3tusv]

Welcome to the site. Not sure if you are in or near Cork city or not but if you are and would like to come to any of our meets you are most welcome. See next event on Saturday 12th Decemeber in events section if interested.
