Brewing Grain 16 years 6 months ago #1

Folks - My tour in Ireland is coming to a close and have not had the chance to use up all the grain I purchased over the last 2 years. I have about 150 Kg or maybe a bit more of various types of grain for all brewing that I cannot ship home with me, and a number of packages of hops that will need to go to good use, I also have extract that I would rather not ship home as well. If your interested in purchasing at a discount then let me know, I will let the storage totes go along with the grain and maybe a batch of my homebrew as well as a present. Would likely be letting go of grain sometime in the next month or two...

Cheers

Might be an idea to post what you have and what price you'll accept. Will you post or is it collection only ?

It is for collection only as no means to ship. Will give a good deal to someone who is an avid brewer and will put to good use. It is whole grain so you will need a crusher. Will sell my crusher for replacement cost in states if someone needs, heavy duty one so may not want to spend that much. Also, have a few pots and pans for the person looking to get into brewing. I would say shoot and offer to consider or give me a shout to come see. Needs to be gone by December 14th.

25 KG Carapils
20 KG Munich
20 KG Pale
15 KG Pilsner
10 KG Expired Cracked Maris Otter
5 KG Miscellaneous (Biscuit, Victory, Dark Munich)
2-6 Canisters of Brewing Extract golden, Dark
2 types of wyeast special strain forget types
10 5 oz. packages of whole hops (Various)
* I am sure I am missing more but not sure I can get a real detailed inventory if need be...

If someone is looking to getting into brewing I have some kit that I would sell for replacement in the states to get you started and some grain. Just want to pass on the brew bug.

Damn I buy my grain pre-crushed so I have no grain mill.

A heavy duty mill might be more than I would be willing to spend just to buy your grain so you might have to sell to someone who has a mill.

Same here, I buy pre-crushed and don't want to bother with the mill unless it is cheap.

You didn't put up any prices, they might help.
