i spoke to him at the well too...he got them from the uk in part exchange for a truck or a horse. I think some guy was going ot open a brew pub in the uk but had problems and went bust before he was up and running...he was also on about buying a bottling plant...apparently he has connections in that line of business as he used work for a pharma co. sourcing hardware in the uk. they are all ready built but never installed / commissioned

If it's not too inappropriate, can I ask how many zeros the guide price has? I know I should just ring the man, but I'm sure he's plagued with brewheads.

Just thinking about it. Is there a sustainable market out there for a microbrewery with seasonal runs? As in divvy production up between your "house ale" and maybe four specials over the course of each year. Maybe as voted for here, and/or some sort of amateur competition - winner gets their recipe as next production run.

I know the existing microbreweries do irregular specials, but expected seasonal runs might appeal to both the "let's guess the EBC on dat" beernerds as well as generating a bit of interest in different styles for the mere mortal amateur brewers.
