This heat insulation jacket is designed to be used with the Grainfather to keep heat contained in the boiler and maintain a constant temperature during your brew.
Material - SBR Foam (11mm thickness)
Designed for the Grainfather for heat insulation, especially in colder temperature areas
Easy to wipe clean, polyurethane outer layer, which is machine washable.

The Grainfather manufacturers have now completed the Beta testing on their control box.
The Beta testers have provided some really good feedback and overall rating score has been 4.2/5 on their survey. Many commented on the bluetooth connection with a device that alerts at the various stages of brewing were a great feature and will make the brew day even easier. They all loved that it had a PID algorithm and a delayed heating feature.

All bugs have been identified and fixed and they are launching the new control box in November, as we are the number one supplier of Grainfathers we want to gauge support for the first orders and ensure we order enough, so who wants one? At this stage we are gauging interest to ensure we order enough to cover demand

The finalized fatures of the Grainfather Connect Control Box are;
*Complete control over the heater power using a modified PID algorithm
*A Bluetooth connection between your device and the new control box
*Delayed heating feature where you can program in a time you want your water to start heating
*Fits all Grainfathers currently in the market place
* The App is compatible with i0s and Android. Android software will need to be 4.3 or higher and hardware will need to be Bluetooth low energy(LE)/ Bluetooth Smart.
*Iphone/Ipad software will need to be i0s 8 or higher and the hardware will need to be iphone 4s or higher (will not be compatible with Windows operating systems)
*Recipes can be imported to the app (eg from Beersmith) and they are also developing a recipe creator for the Grainfather website which will sync with the app.
