Irish Pale Ale Malt and Oat Husks at The Homebrew Compan 11 years 1 month ago #7

Ah I'm not worried about it, would just like to know what it is. MCI do three different bases malts, all different specs. There don't seem to be any specs available on this.

I was being facetious about Laois v Cork.

Hi Guys,
As this malt is 3.6 ebc does it require a boil longer than an hour like pilsner malt?
I've just tried my first brew with it so I'll know how it went in a few weeks.

He's talking about the lager malt. The pale malt is 6 or 7 EBC IIRC
