I'll be over there in a few weeks time, so this should come in handy. I like the way that the nearest tube stops are mentioned, as we'll have to plan well ahead, due to the madness of the olympics.

tube Topic Author Offline Posts: 3438	Strange as it may seem we decided we could give the beer a break and we went sight-seeing instead. Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Madame Tussauds etc. Hadn't been to any of them since I was a kid. Well worth it... there is just sooo much to see in London.

Very strange indeed! Haven't done those things since I was a kid either, and don't intend to again until I have to take my own kids. Maybe next year when we plan to visit London as a family, but until then it's selfish drinking all the way!
