Yep, it's perfectly acceptable to sit at a bus shelter, swigging your bottle of Pils before lunch. Or even [i:29hq3zsl]on[/i:29hq3zsl] the bus! It's a disgrace! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

The difference between the actual regulation and the accepted practice of implimentation of the regulation(Gardai turning a blind eye) means as Séan said, you could get a jobsworth who could really ruin the fun.
I cant help but think that if you brought a corny the cops would be so utterly non-plussed that they would leave you alone. That said, if they did confiscate your corny, how gutted would you be?!
