The William's Bros beers are worth trying, especially the Ceilidh as it's just such an interesting lager. Really liked the IPA and 80/-. Birds & Bees was ok, but not as interesting as I had hoped from the ingredients list. Did a post on them here[/url:2g1q6992].

What kind of undrinkable was it?

Really really sugary sweet, and thin, with lots of worty grain. I'd say it'd be much better when buoyed up by proper lager fizz.

sorry ed yeah the trip to belfast ended up being even more disorganised than usual following the train issues in malahide so ended up not staying over and coming back the same night, the lisburn one was the sainsburys that i was in, their selection has gotten worse since i was there before christmas, maybe it's a seasonal thing as they'd significantly increased their cider selection and they'll increase the ales after the 'summer' has officially ended.
