That could be part of the idea. You have to buy a budweiser bottle holder as well as the bottle.

The -5 C thing is a little dubious. I don't think a 5% abv beer will stay liquid that low. You could get away with 2 or 3 below, I reckon.

I reckon so. How cold is a freezer compartment? I popped a bottle of Heineken in there last night (it's for an experiment!) and forgot it. Had to clean beer out of the freezer compartment today as it froze solid and pushed beer out the top. Grrr...

Some years back I had a beer fridge in the living room that I had removed the plastic freezer compartment in the hope that it would chill beer right down. It did its job and more! Quite often I would open a can and feel slush against my lips. Of course this is a very frustrating way to drink beer but it did recall the method used in North America to make applejack cider. By leaving a batch of fermented cider outside in the freezing weather, each morning the frozen section in the barrell would be removed. As the days passed and more frozen water was removed the more concentrated the cider became! If that's you're thing of course!

It begs the question of what chemicals they are using to keep the water in this Bud bottle from freezing?!!
