I'm not keen on the Brewing company bit either. Old Town Brewing Company isn't a great name for a new exciting brewery. You need something that suggests what you're about. Trouble Brewing is probably the best so far, good and punchy.

I meant that in terms of "having trouble", not "you are trouble"

I voted for but now regret the capital brewing company. I think people might be right about the auldness of it.

I agree with Silenus Trouble brewing is a headline waiting to happen[/url:13q4baie].

If brewdog is the best name what would the Irish alternative be? The thirsty salmon?

I voted for trouble brewing cos I think it's catchy and clever.
I quite like "the thirsty salmon" but its a bit too close to "the thirsty scholar" pub in cork perhaps.
If you want to explore the salmon theme, you could go with 'Salmon Eile" <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

I voted for Halo but meant to vote for Trap Door. (Mouse malfunction)

I think from a marketing perspective having 'brewing company' in the name can be of benefit, from a search engine/directory enquiries etc perspective.

You could do a lot around branding with the name Trap Door, although Trouble, however controversial is catchy.
