Arrogance is one of those terrible vices that is absolutely vital for progress. Unless people got completely out of their depth by thinking they were much more competent then they were our ancestors would never have left the sea, the trees or Cork.

To be fair, that was a 75cl La Chouffe. (I have quick eyes!)

I have been watching the program and I think it's obvious that it's a PR exercise and money making scheme.(And good luck to them if it works) I don't think it's really about the beer.
Mind you, they seem to be forgetting the first rule of selling, listen to your customer.
No matter what, people will be flocking there now it's been on the TV.
I presume it's still open!?

I haven't seen it yet (torrenting it tonight hopefully) but I did think the revamp of the pub was a disaster. It was a nice old place originally.

Also, the beer choice was a bit daft. Belle-Vue Kriek on tap wouldn't be a big seller in a small town, I reckon!
