Less well known and hidden away? You mean the pub that used to be on telly several times a day after they filmed a series of Smithwick's ads in it? That's a candidate for the usual track, IMO.

You would be surprised at how many people don't know of its existence, let alone the fact that it was in those ads.

Now that you mention the ads, I'm all " Oh, riiiiiiiight!"

Yeah, I think The Gravediggers would be a good one. I can't think of any other "traditional" pubs. Bankers maybe, but it's a bit crap. The Quill has sadly closed. Ryan's is a dive, but maybe that's the kind of thing we want <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Fraizer's in O'Connell Street. Maybe mention it's the meeting point of the Dublin branch of the Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club and suggest they wear football tops to blend in?
