TOPIC:

I recommend that this year we head to Doolin for the annual camping weekend.

There are a few reasons for this.

1. The Burren Brewery[/url:1gfaclte] in nearby Lisdoonvarna, about 6km away.
2. Campsite in Doolin village[/url:1gfaclte] is pretty much across the street from Fitzpatrick's pub with craft beer on tap and bottle.
3. We can always go on an Aran excursion from Doolin.

I will have my campervan as usual. This year I will probably be on my own so I have a free berth. Also, I can take 5 passengers and stuff for those who don't drive.

Anyone have any dates in mind? I'm easy for the most part. I only can't do the weekend of July 12th.


I can throw the June bank holiday out there as one option.
Another option is August 23rd to 25th as there is a Craft Beer Festival.[/url:1gfaclte]

Sounds like a plan, happy with the location but will have to check with Elisabeth if we can make it. I can't do weekend 23rd Aug due to a wedding.

Or an alternative regular weekend.

Id be very interested in meeting some beer lovers.
But my tent has a hole in it( from last music fest. some tit burned a hole it it <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="" title="Evil or Very Mad" /><!-- s:evil: --> .No cash to replace it at moment.)
But I def. try to attend in future. Sound like a good trip.

I think 2 normal tents and 1 pop up tent for anyone interested.

Yeah if I could borrow one that would be great. Ill give you a definite answer later but im pretty sure im available most weekends.
