haha was just talking about this to someone. I would welcome some negative feedback. Always looking to improve.

Just give it in a constructive way is all

OK, the details are in, and it's like this:

The event is on Sunday 28th October at 7pm, at the Twisted Pepper, 54 Middle Abbey Street Dublin 1. Entrants are requested to bring their entries along with them at that time. They are required to bring [b:25ug26h2]2 litres or 6x33cl bottles[/b:25ug26h2], clearly labelled.

However, all beers must be registered in advance. To do this, send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with
-your name
-your phone number
-the style of your beer
-the method of brewing: kit, extract or all-grain

Entries must be registered by [b:25ug26h2]22 October[/b:25ug26h2].

Prizes will be awarded for the best kit, extract and all-grain beers, as well as a Grand Prize and an Audience Choice award. No idea what the prizes will be, however.

It's free to enter, and admission to the venue is free to all as well.

That's it. Any questions?

What leeway is there in the Kit category? Steeping grains? Hopping? Dry hopping? Yeast substitution? Adjuncts?

What about spectating? If one just wanted to sample the atmosphere, goings-on and brews can you get a ticket?
