Will try to get involved but I'm rubbish at describing beer beyond hoppy, fruity etc.

With the wine ones (I only did one of them) I think the semi-structured format makes the describing process a bit more interesting and fun. It's not just saying what it tastes like:
[quote:1efncgip] We will likely start off with dialogue on all things colour, aroma, appearance in the glass, viscosity. Guesses might then be made as to style. [b:1efncgip]Nothing is revealed at this stage[/b:1efncgip]. People might then make guesses as to the hops/malts used. [b:1efncgip]Nothing is revealed at this stage[/b:1efncgip]. After exhausting all possible lines of discussion, spurious claims about the origin of the beer (country) and guesses as to the identity of the brewery may be made, before finally guesses as to which beer it is. [b:1efncgip]All is then revealed[/b:1efncgip].[/quote:1efncgip]

You can certainly participate on the evening in Kavanagh's. I think there are a couple of people planning to do this.

I know the beer was delivered quite late Tuesday to the drink store, so I would say they would definitely have some left.

Managed to get my hands on a bottle, thank you very much Carryout Ashtown!
