Bray Brewing Club (BBC) Launch 13 years 9 months ago #1

Myself and three hardy souls (Christhebrewer, Damo and Halite) met in Hollands in Bray last Friday for an impromptu discussion on the merits of, among other things, step mashing, kit beers, designing brew sculptures, the merits of SNPA, the joys of Brewdog on tap, brewing DIY and decoction (whatever that is). We enjoyed it so much we decided to try to make it a regular event. The aim of this group will be the consummation and discussion of beer, brewing and general chat. Needless to say all and sundry are welcome to attend.
As such, I'll propose Friday the 20th of July for our initial meeting in my place (Swanbrook, Bray). Normal meeting format will apply

1) Irish Party Ale (Coal Striker, Köstritzer schwarzbier clone) + some nibbles

Sounds great!
Are you near the DART?

1. Irish Party Ale (Coal Striker, Köstritzer schwarzbier clone) + some nibbles
2. JamesM (Possibly Mooching)

Um, kinda near... about 30 mins walk...
I just realised this will probably be the day after the normal monthly meet in the B&C, so I may change the date!

We could be changing permanently to Wednesdays for the monthly meetings so I reckon you could be grand.

I was planning on a Saturday around then to take the Dart to Greystones, walking to Bray along the coast and ending the day with a pint in one of your fine craft beer serving hostelries. Actually planned it ages ago but been busy every weekend since (and will be every weekend until then). Maybe we could combine the two events.

I've no problem with moving it to the Saturday night.
