I always stay in one of the 2 excellent hostels when at beer events in Cork. I think €15-18/ night and both within easy walking distance of the Well/Bierhaus.
Will be doing the same for this

Doesnt have to be at all.
1st year I went down I came back, but that means a 6 oclock bus to Waterford, hang around for a half hour for the wexford bus, another 1/2 in Wexford for my bus home, walk in the door after 11 <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->

Much easier for me to drive and stay overnight, and thats the only reason I'd be staying <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Jaysus, long day alright. Worst thing about it is the craic is usually only getting started when it's home time.

OK I have the pass secured. It made sense as I would have to be picked up from the bus stop which is 11 km away and I have a track record of missing busses so I'm usually on the last one.

I'll stay in the hostel too, it will bring me back to my youth.
