liking the brown wheat, i get bananas and the slightest hint of toffee. very smooth. the bitter was very like the irish red i made back in june, went great with my tuna for dinner <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

just started on yours - the big bottle 'WW'? Lovely licquorice flavour from it, but not much carbonation in my bottle I'm afraid. reminds me of something i had in nz or oz, i can't put my finger on it, maybe a bit of Speights Old or something. tasty, pity about the lack of carbonation, it's quite flat <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->

Had the smaller bottle last night carbonation was much better <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> Not as much licquorice flavour in this one, otherwise very similar. Nice work!

Barry, had your 1775 last night too, it was very nice. Can't quite put my finger on what it reminded me of - more an english ale than an american - perhaps a little like bitter and twisted without the lemon? Great carbonation, maybe even slightly overcarbed, although I did have it in a Paulaner glass so that didn't do any favours I suppose <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->. Very nice indeed.
