All Welcome,

At the Bierhaus festival on friday night myself and Ger Cork from the forum meet Russell Grant, the head brewer at The Franscian Well. In the course of conversation he liked our forum. He offered to give us a talk and a tour of the brewery any Thursday night. I suggested 6th December and he would be delighted to give us a talk.He tried some of my beer recentlty and like it. The members could swap beer as long as there is a spare bottle for Russell. Russell also offerd to sell Icb members THE CASK KEG OF PURGATORY at bar prices. Even if the demand was not their for the full keg he will tap it for the night we are there.

I have no problem with a change in date or moving to weekend if our Dublin cousins are interested.

Every year 23 Kegs of Purgatory are brewed, I known it is available in Bull and Castle, but to be offerd the only CASK Keg produce this year is where it is at.

Lets just see where this goes and if there is enough members interested.

count me in - i am flexible re dates as well.

Obviously a week-end time would suit more people but having access to space at the Well would be a consideation - would be easier on a week night. Obviously it would be great if it happens.

That sounds class. Good work, and enjoy the evening.
Would love to make it but alas.

I would love to make it down. A Thursday night probably wouldn't work for me though. That Saturday (or even that Friday at a push) might work though. Having said that I'm conscious I will most likely be the only 'Dublin Cousin' looking to make it so go with what works for the majority and I'll do my best to be there.

Is it only for Munsters?

Would love to go along too, especially as it's been years since I've been to Cork (and having lived in Fermoy and worked in the Cork countryside, I have a fondness for the county, if not the city which I only made brief forays into), but a Thursday makes it impossible (weekend days would merely be difficult ).
