+1 That Tokyo was something else. I think I have yet to go in that pub without getting something. Either a free drink or glasses. I was in with my sister a few weeks ago when she came over from the US and we left with a set of Chimay goblets each

Haven't been to Waterford since the Millenium ( brilliant couple of days but no ICBs then )

May not stand up to the big city pubs on the craft beer front, but he will get there. Metalman is always on draught, he had both the pale ale and Altenator on tap a while back, only pub in the country with 2 Metalman taps at the time.
Good selection of Brewdog beers with Punk on tap, and various other bottled beers a bit out of the ordinary.

I'm going to drop in the Beoir cheat sheet to him next time I'm down. He's also talking about a new venue which wont be as flash ( <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> ) a place which he'll concentrate on more of a crafty theme. Plus he's a hell of a nice guy

Early days yet, we just had a chat about it at the meet but didnt put a date on it yet.
I ran the idea by Flash to make sure it was ok to have a competition in our usual room.
He was delighted and offered a €100 beer voucher as a prize.
Really only a matter of getting a date sorted and approaching some judges we had discussed
