Okay, I don't feel so bad as I was on holidays. Figures. Hopefully they'll make that an annual thing. Harvest also throws a wine fest for €10 you get to taste 200-odd wines. Pretty funny to see the pretentious types completely smashed by the end of the day. We tried to taste them properly with the whites first and then the reds.... we were smashed by the time we made the round of whites. Up Galway!

Good to hear.

PS: ended up at the bull and castle tonight (doing some work at the DCC). Interesting pub, good looking grub (had to go for sushi tho as we don't have that in galway), nice selection. Tried a Raging Bull Winter (red), budvar, double connamara whisky, and takeaway chimay blue and westmalle tripple. Not bad for €25.

Ha Ha - this sounds like it's going to be great craic. Just want to put something past you: there is a "Galway Hooker Appreciation" group on facebook and I was thinking about putting an invite on that. Would anybody not like me to do this as it's supposed to be an ICB outing? I'm not too pushed either way. By the way, I haven't changed the recipe but your comments are interesting to me as I recently received a batch of cascade that looked, smelled and ultimately, it would appear, was different. We'll chat at the brewery!!

Also was thinking about throwing a firkin on at the brewery. Any interest?
