Must say that the beer of the night was Partridge9 ( James' ) Monty Belgian Tripple

Supperb

As Dempsey (converted tonight by James) made off with the secret recipe, James can you please post the recipe?

TBNs chilli stout was something else! Wicked!

Belgian beers are always the best. I'd prefer a Belgian ale like Goudenband but a good triple is priceless. I would add a hint of Bergamot peel though.
I have once tasted a liquor back home made with pure liquorice root and fresh spearmint and it was divine. I think it could work in a beer as well.

I thought christhebrewer's pale ale was outstanding (after the fizz was knocked out of it) and really enjoyed saruman's very stout stout. Partridge's Belgian ale was beautiful too.

James,partridge9,your the man, that belgian beer you brought was truly a well made beer. It did not have any of the off flavors I have tasted in many a bottle of belgian beer. With all the ingredients you used, you managed to get the balances right,a true marker for me. My standard is always, would I buy this beer, and the answer is yes.
