Was there earlier today, was very impressed with the entire set up.TBN, I must apologise for leaving before the end of your session, but the kid was getting annoyed by the reggae singing malaysians.sorry I didn't get to introduce myself, but for what it's worth the talk was great!

Thanks! The acoustics are just awful in that corner. Is gunning down an entire gospel choir a straight-to-hell offence?

If I had known you were singing John I would have made the effort to go!

Took a lot of effort to find something that rhymes with "saccharomyces".

great day loads of irish beers and whiskys not to mention loads of mince pies.
the beernut did a great job of fitting a lot of information into a very short space of time. the choir didnt help but he persiverd on and gave a excellent presentation of the various aspects of beer. and apart from some random woman passer by snatching a beer of the table it went very well and may have done alot to recruiting more members.

that was until he sprung his "special stout" on us unsuspecting few. smelled and tasted normal and good but then back of the sinus burning from the chilli he threw in.

HOLY CRAP!!!!

now thats a winter warmer and may have actually cured my chest infection. however roomers of free chrisps on the 1st floor, 3 kids and a non drinking wife cut my afternoon short so i had to dash.

Big thanks to emmetg for doing the job of beer runner at my talk today. It's great that we can depend on Beoir members to get the beers in when we need the beers got in.
