I had an enjoyable evening! Thanks to The Porterhouse (and to Séin) for the invite and the hospitality. I am not my full productive self today!

Yep, great evening, and superb generosity from the Porterhouse.

Congrats to BrewerMel on winning the top prize for her Brown Ale, and to the Franciscan Well and Metalman: runners up with their respective pale ales.

very enjoyable evening I must say. Congrats to the winners, it was great to hear Oliver announcing there are 66 beers currently being brewed by craft brewers in Ireland and it shows how far we've come in recent years.

I really enjoyed all the beers but I think Trouble Brewing's Dark Arts might well have been my favourite.

Yes, a highly enjoyable evening all round. Sorry I had to disappear early but I did end up in the B&C with my clients and I persuaded them to drink a few pints of Metalman IPA.

Not for this festival, but some time soon. Peter wasn't very enthusiastic about it when I asked him on Wednesday.
