How was the B&C last night? considering it was (it kills me to adopt the phrase) arthurs day.

Consideering every other pub in town was packed to the rafters - it would be interesting to know what kind of a crowd were in the B&C.

Student pub crawl were there littering the place up for marketing day, thankfully they fucked off around 7 or so, and it was busy but not jammed. Real problem was the noise level made it very difficult to discuss the beers on show.

was it the IT blanchardstown crowd? they all had black tshirts with arthurs day pub crawl on the front and "to arthur!" on the back. About 50 of them milled into the TB porterhouse and started shouting "to arthur!" morons. I thought I'd be safe there.

It was grand. I got there before 7, it was a little mental and we did not have a full table to ourselves so I went downstairs to eat and when I came back we had the full table and I only missed two beers.

Perhaps next year we will change the date, assuming it falls on the same Thursday.
