Lots of lovely beer last night. Chamomile from Biertourist; ginger from grainne; a lovely aromatic stout from Halite; delicious elderflower champagne from Justin and brian_c's failed beer that was so failed I had to take a bottle home with me after finishing the first one.

TBN's Pacific Gem pale ale has got to be worth a mention. My oh my that was good. I thought the oakey pale ale was triffic too.

I just wanted to thank everyone for making me feel very welcome at the meeting last night. I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting everyone. One of the reasons I love home brewing is how friendly and supportive the community is and I am glad to see that is the case in Ireland as well as back in the US.

A few of you had suggested places for my girlfriend and I to see while we are in Galway this weekend and Cork the following one. I've posted a new thread here[/url:ycua45w8] for anyone with some suggestions to share.
