Cask Helvick Gold now being served in Quealy's.

Should be making our way up to Dublin in the next few weeks.

What a great afternoon tasting that was. Thanks a million to Séan, who did a fantastic job.
Everything seemed to run pretty smoothly, and the general consensus was that people enjoyed it, and had their eyes opened to what's out there in the Irish beer market.

We had 13 beers all in, and from memory the list went like this:

Curim
Belfast Lager
O'Hara's Red
Copper Coast Red
Headless Dog
Helvick Gold
Porterhouse Plain
Porterhouse Red
Hop Head
Brainblasta
Clothworthy Dobbin
Molly's Chocolate Stout
Black Rock Stout.

Then it was downstairs where Helvick Gold was for sale on cask and bottle.

No need to thank me. I had a room full of people who had no way to stop me talking beer at them and no easy escape rout. I dream of situations like that.

I think it went fairly well. You gauge peoples interest by the questions that are asked and they were definitely curious.

A thouroughly enjoyable afternoon, followed by some lovely cask Helvick Gold. Went home very content <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) --> Well done to all involved!
