This sounds like it will be a good night , I dont know what the other members think but would you think the Oslo would like to have a closer relationship with the ICB or craft brewing ingeneral ie they are organising this craft brewing shindig as well as entertaining us . This looks very promising . My mind races a bit but could it be an opportunity for oslo to brew members recipes etc based on our bring and taste sessions . The master brewer could probably judge which is the best one with the option of eventually using the recipe maybe brew a small test batch and sell to general public . Maybe a token amount from the profits or price of any sold could go back to the actual home brewer or ICB. This would be a great way to drum up interest in home brewing in Connaught Alternatively whatever best beer in show we could agree to pool money together for materials and equipment so thats the masterbrewer could brew a small bacth for us the next meet.sorry bit of a rant and really all dependson the Oslo and their staff in accommodating us and other members thoughts.is this abit too optimistic? Sorry about the grammar in thepost trying tohold a six month old and type at the same time ! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

From the look of the other pubs in the estate (The Cottage, The Salt House) and the manifesto on their website[quote:3ij79oyy]to bring a wider range of domestic and international beers, educated wine selections and food that was clever in its creation and excellent to the taste[/quote:3ij79oyy]I don't think their committment to craft beer can be doubted.

Probably not something that couldbe proposed straight off , but could you imagine the kick a home brewer would get seeing his beer tapped in a pub! The Salt house is an excellent bar . I would recommend it - small but some selection of beers
