Hi everyone. Thanks for letting me try your beers last night.

Richie had a lambicy brew. Really nice. I must get some Orval yeast and try copy him.

Marceldesailly had a really good simple stout. Top notch stuff.

ChillieBillie's chocloate stout was great as well.

Whose was the ginger, orange and cinnamon Christmas beer? That was really well balanced and complex.

Bighair and Grainne's malty slightly treacley beer was a really good winter brew.

I did not have one bad homebrew beer all night which is brilliant.

Norrebro. Lovely beer.

ChillieBillie's double chocolate stout was amazing -- all stout; all chocolate; all the the time. The only problem with the chillified version was I needed [i:1eh2d7q9]more[/i:1eh2d7q9]

Great night. Those what signed up to Beoir should see the Beoir board now. If you don't, PM me.

Agreed. It was lovely and creamy too.

All in all, I had a fun night. It was great to get an update from Thom on the Trouble Brewing project (best of luck with it!) and to talk to Séan about the finer details of water treatment. Did anybody figure out whether 5.2 stabiliser maintains the same pH level after the mash ends??!!

Had a good night at my first meet. Thanks for the comments on my Christmas beer, i was chuffed with them.
I enjoyed the double choc stout, because i don't usually drink normal stout, but it was great with chocolate. I also liked a couple of the other pale ales. Had my first draught Curim, which was slightly nicer than the bottle. Also had a Prohibition, which was really full of flavour, I liked that also. It was also good to chat to people that know about beer, and get tips, feedback etc. I'll just say lucky i wasn't in work today..
