Yes great night indeed. All who said they would come came, Some great home brews, Aleman's two pale ales were really good, nothing wrong with OConn's nads either!!! Taf's smokey porter was very Nice - One to saviour and Donnachadha's bottle was very good too.

Add to the above samples presented by Dave Of Ola dubh 12 and 16 Year whisky cask beers and HopHazard from River Horse California - Another big hopper!!.

Along with the above Headless dog on cask via polypin and Prohibition back as guest, The Headless Dog was a great success gone by 11 o'clock with Rebel carefully monitoring it!!!! Well done Dave for getting it, for your hospitality and for hosting us. I think we will see headless dog back again in this format.

Also Thanks to Fiona for bringing the truffles made with Old Engine Oil and Westmalle Dubbel.

Also much advice / opinions re brewing, beers, etc exchanged and an overall most enjoyable night,

Cheers Wallace. Did a bamish clone yesterday, so used wheat malt instead, so there's no hurry with it. Will give you a shout if I am in town sometime, to get it off you.

Just wondering was anything decided about the group grain buy? I was too drunk by the time it was being discussed, so not sure what came out of it. I think it was a bit vague just asking what everyone wanted, as I presume that for each grain type a 25kg sack will have to be fully taken. Also if it is going to be done every 3 months, people mightn't want that much. I would be doing well to brew once a month. We should probably discuss it at a non drinking time to get the specifics.
